I highly recommend Ms. Kendra Brenner for a teaching position within your school district. As
the Principal of Edison Elementary, I had the pleasure of watching the phenomenal development
of this dedicated, creative, and inspirational young educator. Ms. Brenner was a Michigan State
University intern for the entire 2017 summer session at Edison. During the unpaid internship,
she was one of the first educators to arrive in the building and one of the last to leave on a daily
basis.

I have observed Ms. Brenner teach multiple meaningful and engaging lessons to her students in
all areas of the curriculum. She provided the students with the correct balance of strict discipline
and emotional nurturing that is needed to maintain a productive, healthy, and mentally
stimulating learning environment. Ms. Brenner has demonstrated the ability to write lesson
plans that are standards driven and academically appropriate for the various learning styles of
children.

Ms. Brenner has worked closely with all members of the Edison community including teachers,
students, parents, and business leaders. Her leadership abilities have been evident through her
involvement in all school activities. Our school utilized her innovative skills to create a better
learning environment for the students of Edison.
  
 
In closing, I am confident that Ms. Brenner will be an awesome addition to your staff. Her
willingness to learn and grow as a young teacher will continue to assist her development as an
exemplary educator. Ms. Kendra Brenner has all of the necessary attributes to become an
outstanding educator. Her integrity, work ethic, and positive personality will make her a
