Hello North Farmington High School Parents,

Thank you for allowing me to work with your amazing children! My

name is Kendra Brenner and I will be working as a student teacher this
spring in your child’s classroom. I am a recent graduate from Michigan
State University, and am currently working towards my Masters. My
certification is in both Special Education and Elementary Education,
with a focus in Mathematics. This is my fifth and final year as a teacher
in training. I am looking forward to this learning opportunity in your
child’s classroom.

I am originally from Northville, Michigan. The first half of this school

year I student taught in a first grade classroom at Hillside Elementary.
The previous two summers I have spent teaching summer school in
Detroit Public Schools. And prior to that I have worked and led camps
at Schoolcraft College. Outside of working with children, some of my
interests revolve around sports and working out. Basketball and soccer
are both passions of mine. Not only have I played these sports, but I
have coached and refereed them as well.

I will be working with the students in your child's class in various

capacities. I will gradually increase my responsibilities with the
students over the course of the school year. I’m so excited to get to
know each and every one of your children!
