A Message
from the
Director
The school reached its ninth year milestone in the 2016-2017 school year with 23 students and
4 staff members.

The S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math) curriculum and VEX IQ
Robotics program conitnue to be strong additions to the school’s offerings.

Combining the latest innovations in technology and individualized education with a girl-
centered focus equips students with a strong academic foundation and gives them the
moral compass and tools needed to move on to middle school and beyond with
confidence.

It was a major milestone year when two sixth grade students who attended the school since
kindergarten graduated from Grade 6. Aleah and Bella represented the result of a K- 6
Huakailani School for girls education. Kaine, a student for 3 years, also joined the team of
three awesome graduates who delivered condident and powerful speeches that tugged at
the heartstrings at family and friends at the 2017 graduation ceremony. Each girl continued
on her noble journey on different paths for Grade 7. Aleah moved on to a larger co-ed
private school (Le Jardin Academy), Kaine moved on to study in Japan for a year, and Bella
stayed on as the first Grade 7 student at Huakailani School for Girls.

It was a wonderful way to end Year 9 and much excitment is building for the 10th year
anniversary coming up next school.

With girl power,

Kaori Brown
