MODULE: Hydraulic, TEC
The apprentice/student will take part in a problem based learning activity. The
lessons will be a mixture of theoretical and hands-on input activities. The
learning style of the students will be considered. The apprentices/students
work in groups of 2-3 persons on a mechatronics system. At the end of the
module the apprentice/student works on a hydraulic system, builds up parts of
it and hereafter he/she tests it.

Hydraulic
Exercise
____________________________________________________________________
You should handle heavy pieces of wood. The mass is too big to carry. Please
now build out the system with wire lift pulling the wooden pieces up by a
hydraulic motor. There is only one pump for supplying the pressure.
You can lift or split the wood (only one action at the same time
It should be possible to drink a beer with running motor without
burning the oil.
It should be possible to adjust (reduce) the speed of the lift when
lifting the wooden pieces.
