Summoners war can be a bit confusing

in the beginning because you hit a wall
in progression really fast. I made this
guide to help new players get over that
wall as soon as possible
I think that it's important to realize that
you can’t get very far in the game
without spending a lot of time if you are
going to level up random stuff you find
from unknown scrolls to 5*. That’s why
in the beginning that shouldn’t be your
focus if you want to be effective.

3 is the easiest stage), light inugami,
light bearman and light vagabond
(from secret dungeons). They are only
replaceable by natural 4* /5* monsters
in the long run.
You want to look out for at least these
monsters from unknown scrolls:
Monsters that you will need later
(don’t use these for evolving other
monsters. make sure you check your
monsters just in case, I must have
forgot many of them):
Wind Pixie
Any Griffon (water for fusion, fire and
wind are actually useful)
Water Garuda
Water Mystic Witch, other Mystic
Witches for skillups to water one later
Fusion material (save any monsters that
you can find on this page

Fire/wind Inugami for light inugami skill
levelups
Fire Bounty hunter
Farmers (in order of how good they are
in my opinion, everyone can have
different opinions):
Water Charger Shark (awakened)
farms faimon normal at 5* 28 level.
Runes are 3*. fatal/blade set.
Wind Warbear (awakened)
farms aiden normal at 5* 18 level.
Runes are 3* . Full energy set.
Needs clean shot skill max level.
Water Warbear (awakened)
farms faimon normal at 5* 20 level.
Runes are 3* . Full energy set.
Level up skills.
Water magic knight (given for free,
doesn’t need awakening)
farms faimon normal. Needs runes
from giants. Try to farm stage B3 at
minimum. Try to get 4 despair
runes for set bonus and fill rest 2
runes with blade set. 5* level 30.

removed and poster banned permanently. Report any
violations.

Attempting to buy, sell or trade accounts will be

Account giveaways are OK as long they are open to

Must be nat-5 only. Runes and other powerups must
be 6* legend and +12 or higher at the time of posting.
Absolutely no bad luck posts are allowed.
8. Video & Streams
See Detailed Rules. No direct stream links. No "low-
effort" videos. Descriptive text MUST accompany
every video in the comments. Do not self-promote or
solicit people to click, follow or subscribe. Just
providing a link isn't enough, give context. People
shouldn't have to click off-site to find out what the
video is about.
Rule violations and content removals are dealt with on
a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the

mystical scroll, keep it. Most of them
are good.
How to awaken these monsters?
These should be the first dungeons that
you visit in the early game. Don't bother
at all with giants/dragons unless you
need special runes. You should farm
hall of magic B4 and hall of (element MESSAGE THE MODERATORS

Things to remember while leveling

Don’t care about winning in arena at all. Com2Us HQ after an error - Cyanide and
Just fight the matches there with your Happiness style
tickets and hope that you win. If you
lose 5 matches in a row, you can
refresh the list and maybe you find
something that you can beat. Use
whatever monsters are your highest
level.
BUY DEVILMON WITH 180 GLORY
POINTS EVERY WEEK. It's your best
way to spend glory points. The second
best way to spend glory points is
probably mysterious plant if you are f2p
player. This can change later in the
game, but in the early game you
shouldn't be buying anything else with
glory points. It should be relatively easy
to farm glory points by losing on
purpose in arena by clicking the cog in

the bottom left of your screen and

pressing Quit Battle. You should do this
when the opponents you have are all
over 10 levels above you and you can't
beat anything. After losing on purpose a
few times, refresh and see if you can
beat anything. You should be matched
against a bit worse opponents each
refresh. The opponents will be a lot
worse when you go below 1000 arena
score.
There are some good farming spots in
the early game (good means that you
don’t require much investment to clear
the stage). These are:
Mt. Siz stages 1-3
Telain Forest stage 4
Tamor desert stage 3
You want to level on one of these
stages on the highest difficulty you can.
Once you get the requirements for one
of the farmers to farm the better stages,
do it. Awakened wind warbear can farm
water stages really easily, even hell
mode mt siz stage 3 solo.
ON SUNDAYS
While leveling, look out for light
Inugami, light Bearman and light
Vagabond secret dungeons in the chat.
You will need these monsters later on
unless you get lucky with mystical
scrolls. When you can, you should farm
Hall of Light Stage B4 until you find a
secret dungeon. Unless the secret
dungeon is one of those 3, you can
ignore it and continue leveling in the
good farming spots. You should repeat
this every hour if you can, when the
useless secret dungeon expires,
though.
If it happens be one of those 3
monsters secret dungeons, invite as
many people from chat to your friends
who ask for it and accept all friend
requests and start farming it as soon as
you can. Bring as many aoe monsters
(which is why you should keep at least
one). Clear the secret dungeon as far
as you can (usually you have to clear
stage 4 and then quit once stage 5

starts). Keep doing the secret dungeon

as long as you can, even with crystal
energy refills if you have no energy left
anywhere. These monsters are
EXTREMELY important later. You can
get 2 of them on the same day if you
are lucky.
What monsters to use when
leveling?
Use this team setup:
-Your best farmer, which is usually
water magic knight unless you manage
to find a better farmer from an
unknown/mystical scroll.
-3 “useless” monsters, such as Wind
Elemental. Most of the monsters that I
haven’t listed are useless for a long
time
-In the beginning, you may need
another “strong” monster such as fire
hellhound instead of a “useless”
monster to clear the stage. Most of the
time, it’s more effective to use only 1
strong monster in low difficulty rather
than 2 strong monsters in high difficulty.
As soon as you can, try to switch to the
normal leveling setup.
AN EXAMPLE OF A LEVELING
SETUP
Wind warbear (farmer), Wind
elemental, Maned Boar, Sandman
(useless monsters)
The progression of a useless monster
during leveling goes like this:
1. 2* lvl 1 Wind Elemental
2. 2* lvl 20 Wind Elemental
3. evolve it with 2x 2* useless
monsters into 3*
4. 3* lvl 1 Wind Elemental
5. 3* lvl 25 Wind Elemental
6. Either leave it as it is, or if you need
more space, evolve it with the
monsters that you got in step 4.
You can either repeat steps 1-6 or you
can repeat steps 1-3 until you have so
many 3 stars that you have to evolve
some of them into 4 star level 1
monsters. Use silver 1 star monsters to

powerup other silver 1 star monsters

instead of trying to level them up.
Why leveling like this is effective
You will need those 4* level 1 monsters
that you are creating to evolve your
good monsters later on. You should get
your farmer to 5* as soon as possible,
but without sacrificing any good
monsters. If you can’t find a better
farmer than water magic knight, you can
sacrifice your water fairy and fire
hellhound to evolve water magic knight
to 5 stars. This is not recommended if
you have leveled up your fire hellhound
and water fairy to 4* level 30, but if they
are level 1, you can do it.
Order of 5* monsters:
1. Your best farmer (you need only 1
of them)
2. Light Bearman, light Inugami, light
vagabond, wind pixie, wind griffon
Once you get all of the monsters in step
2 to 5* and you find good 3* or 4* runes
for them from the scenario hell modes,
should start awakening them. You
should be able to farm Hall of magic B6
with the monster squad in step 2 and
hall of light/wind B4.
WHEN YOU HIT LEVEL 28, BUY ALL
SLOTS IN MAGIC SHOP
You will get most of your 5* or 6* runes
from magic shop at this point, it's not
worth it trying to farm B6 giants. Focus
on leveling stuff to 6* and farming mana
for magic shop. Refresh the shop when
you have too much mana and want to
buy good runes. Never buy anything on
slots 2/4/6 if it's not % rune, even if it's
5* or 6*.
RUNE BUILDS FOR THE FARMABLE
TEAM
Ahman (light bearman) -
Blade/blade/blade, slots 2/4/6,
hp%/crit%/hp%, aim for crit% and hp%
substats if possible
Belladeon (light inugami) - Swift/focus
(before you get good violent runes),
violent/focus after you find good violent

runes, slots 2/4/6, speed/hp%/accuracy,

aim for these substats too
(Darion (light vagabond) -
Energy/Energy/Energy, slots 2/4/6,
hp%/hp%/hp%, aim for accuracy and
hp%/def%/res% substats. He should be
somewhat accurate so you can use
focus set instead.)
Shannon (wind pixie) - Swift/focus
(before you get good despair runes),
despair/focus after you find good
despair runes, slots 2/4/6,
hp%/hp%/accuracy, hp% accuracy and
speed substats
Bernard (wind griffon) Swift/focus, slots
2/4/6 speed/hp%/accuracy, hp%
accuracy speed substats
Instead of Darion you can use many
different monsters such as Michelle or
Orochi or Aqcus. Most of natural 3*
wind/water monsters are fine if they
don't have bad skillset. The same goes
for natural 4* monsters.
After you awaken these monsters, get
them to level 35 and find them 3* runes
from scenario hell modes, you should
be able to clear B6 giants. I won’t cover
more than the early game in this guide.
Once you clear B6 giants, you should
farm them more to get better runes to
get to B8 giants etc. Good luck!
Sorry for terrible formatting, I just had to
give a general guide, because I see at
least 5 posts every day about what to
do somewhere around the early game...
It's really hard to give so much specific
information about a specific farmer, try
to find that information yourself. I tried
to make as general guide as possible to
help everyone in this stage.

Can we stop suggesting Ahman and Darion for beginners?

Both only work with great runes and are a waste of time trying to build in the early game. It's a mistake I
made and sure as hell don't want others making.
A max skilled Bella with decent speed should be able to solo heal everything up to B7, no need for Ahman
here.
Also, running light trio + shannard is super slow for everything. By the time you have those 5 monsters
sitting at 5* 35 you should have at least a few 4* that could be useful and good replacements.

Just a few things

1. Water Griffon is a piece of shit
2. Water Bounty isn't needed if you have Wind Griffon
3. You want vampire on Magic Knight for farming
4. 1 monster with decent AoE would be your magic knight
5. Farmer>Inugami>Vagabond>Pixie>Griffon>Garuda>Bearman
Bearman ain't gonna do anything if you don't have any runes :/

B4 has way better essence drop rates and you are farming for essences in advance while trying to find
a secret dungeon drop.

if even plan to use charger shark for farming faimon normal, then fire Inu can do it with even much faster
speed. You do not need epic runes to do it, 4~5* Fatal set will do the trick. He can finish Faimon normal in
lightning speed as compared to charger shark. Plus you can farm skill up for him easily including SD of all
elements.
Ahman can be skipped , Darion is good for his passive but won't be effective damager without good runes
+ 6*, so he can be kept for later build.
One thing beginner always over looked was Wind Vagabond. He is a pretty cool monster that can be built
100% HP and do good damage with as much utility as any Vagabonds. 3rd skill scale by HP, able to
reduce ATB and has 30% crit rate bonus, you can bring this guy to mid game and still be good. Of course
in later stage when wind meta starts to fail he will be useless.

Fire inu can do it faster but Water charger shark can solo faimon normal with 3* runes, which a
beginner has access to, not the 5* runes... That's why it's ABSOLUTELY NOT recommended to
make Raoq your first farmer. Wind Vagabond is considered to be the worst out of the starter
monster set.
