CUSTOM HIRING CENTRES (CHC’S)
A Custom Hiring Centre (CHC) is a convenient, one stop solution for farm equipments
owned and managed by community based organizations like FPOs/MS/VOs with an
objective to meet the local needs of the women farmers and with an intension to
drudgery reduction.

machinery, implements, tools and usage of the equipment during the season,

Procurement of equipment:

Renting of Equipment:
The equipment owned by the CHC would be rented/leased out by the FPO / MS: In

members. The rental value per day for the equipment would be decided upon by the
FPO / MS board and it would be formalised by passing the resolution.
The housing of the CHC and storage of equipment:

The Housing /storage of the Equipment are ensured with proper well-secured doors and
windows and adequate lock and key mechanism with protection from rain and large
enough to move equipment in and out of the CHC with Provision of electricity.
