You remember an incident when either you were very disobedient to your

elders or someone was very rude to you. Give an account of it, and describe
your feeling at the time. Describe what you remember of the scene, how it all
started, what people said and did, how it ended and who, as you now see was
to blame.

It was a hot afternoon as the scorching sun was shining brightly in the sky. I was
about to take a doze off but the heat from the sun was unbearable. I sat on my
bed, feeling sleepy. I turned around and looked at my study table. It was in a
total mess. Book and stationary were strewn all over the table. So I decided to
tidy them up.

When I was arranging the books, a photo flipped out from a book that I was
holding. I picked it up and stared on it, it was a picture of my best friend, Ben
and me. I began to reminisce how Ben became my best friend.

I could still remember, it was the first day in my new school when I was in form
4. My class teacher made an arrangement for me to sit beside Ben. I had been
kicked out from my previous school because of my discipline problems. Starting
from that day, I acted disobediently to the whole class. I often disturbed other
classmates when the teachers were teaching. Although the teachers had already
given me stern warnings, but I was as stubborn as a donkey and ignored them.
The teachers complained about my bad attitude and behaviour in class and my
classmates did not like me, except for Ben. He tried his best to influence me
positively but I often refuse to listen to him.

Ben is the top student in my class, he also excel in sports and was the role-
model to the other students. Compared to me, he was like a different person.
But he did not give up on me and guided me instead. I thought it was like a hard
nut to crack but I didn’t realise that something was on the cards which will
made me to turn over a new leaf.

That day, school bell rang and it was the time to go home. When I was walking
home and passing by a bus stop, I saw 2 junior students were waiting for their
school bus. I walked toward them and thought to bully them for fun. I did not
notice that 2 seniors were coming. One of the seniors grabbed my collar and
pulled me from the juniors. He was actually the 2 juniors’ elder brother.
“Hey! You are toast! How dare you bully my brothers!” he said, I was quite
shocked to hear that. I thought to against them and ran away quickly but my
bag was snatched by the other senior in a blink of an eye. My mind’s gone blank,
didn’t know what to do next.

Just for a while, I got a slap on my face. I suffered in the excruciating pain and
fell to the ground. They continued to hit me, I begged them to stop and felt
dizzy and could see the anger in their eyes. Suddenly, I saw someone ran
towards us. He tried to stop the seniors but was unsuccessful. He then shielded
me and against the attack. When I took a closer look, I realised it was Ben!

“This is what you deserve for bulling my brothers!” the senior said furiously
through the gritted teeth. Soon, they left.

Ben helped me up, took my arms and led me to the bench. There was bruises
and wounds all over my body, he applied ointment on my bruises and dressed
my wound. I was extremely grateful for his assistance and gentle. At the same
time, I was regretful and shameful for what I did to the juniors.

From that day on, Ben and me became I intimate friends, we always do our
revisions and homework together. After a period of time, my teachers were
pleasantly surprised to see my exam result improved by leaps and bounds. They
also glad to see my behaviour improved tremendously. At the time, I felt that
Ben and me were like 2 peas in a pod.

No man is an island. Once, I thought I was alone and always avoid by the other
person, I gave me a heart attack. I felt that I was to be blamed. But Ben came
into my world and painted my world from pitch dark to a vibrant colours. He
was friendly, valueable and trusthworthly. As my best friend, he had taught me
too much, because of him, I became a better person. I was tremendously
appreciated to him.
