Executive Summary:

FilInvest Land Inc. (FLI) is an real estate developers that provides housing segment to
lower and middle-income markets, offices, retail and commercial properties and
affordable residential lots throughout the Philippines. Our purpose in doing a strategic
management analysis for FilInvest Land Inc. is to provide knowledge about the
company’s strengths and weaknesses to use such strengths to overcome its
weaknesses and its edge to its competitors and recommend strategies that will help
them to grow. We used analysis and matrices in this study such as Vision, Mission and
Goals (VMG) analysis, STEEP analysis that includes key external factors such as
Sociocultural, Technological, Evironmental, Economic and Legal and Political Factors
that will affect the Company, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix that provides
strengths and weaknesses of FilInvest Land Inc. while the External Factor Evaluation
(EFE) Matrix provides Opportunities and Threats. The Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM)
provide the leading competitor of FilInvest based on the weight given which is the Ayala
Land Corporation, SWOT/TOWS Matrix, Grand Strategy Matrix, Strategic Position And
Action Evaluation (SPACE) Matrix, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix, Internal-
External (IE) Matrix and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) that provide
strategies. We have two strategies, first is to Invest in starting another high-rise
condominium projects and the second is, Start a real estate projects that carters to BPO
Sectors. The output/results of this study falls in aggresive strategy because FilInvest
engage more on market development and product development. And we recommend
FilInvest Land Inc. to engage in invest in high-rise condominium and hotel projects.
