Chapter IV

Presentation, Interpretation, and Analysis of Data

On this chapter presents the findings, analysis, and interpretation of data


gathered whose main objective is to found out the reasons of students who are late in
their class.

Questionnaires were given to students from grade 8 and grade 10 who


experienced tardiness especially when going to school. Specifically they will answer the
reasons why they are late that will be the main element of our research.

The table shows that there are more grade 10 students who responded to our
survey than grade 8 students in terms of population. There are 26 (86%) grade 10
students who answered the questionnaires while there are 4 (14%) grade 8 students
that answered the questionnaires.

According to the table, 16 (53%) of the respondents said that they woke up late
that can lead to them being late when going to school. 18 (60%) of the respondents said
that they use gadgets. 11 (37%) of the respondents said that it is because of wattpad
reading addiction. 11 (37%) of the respondents said that it is because they are finding
some important things. 16 (53%) of the respondents said that they do school works on
morning and evening. 11 (37%) of the respondents said that it is because they pack
their things before going to school. 10 (33%) of the respondents said that they are too
lazy to prepare themselves. 19 (63%) of the respondents said that they sleep late.
Lastly, 11 (37%) of the respondents said that they only walk from their house up to their
school.

classes more than other classes. 9 (30%) of the respondents disagree that there are

According to the pie graph, 12 (40%) respondents agree that they know how
many unexcused absences they have before they receive a letter while 18 (60%) of the
respondent disagree that they know how many unexcused absences they have before
they receive a letter.
