1. Briefly describe the field experience. What

As a teacher of ESL learners, I must be able
to do several things. I must understand their
specific needs for language acquisition. I
must build background, and incorporate
visuals and graphic organizers for increased
vocabulary comprehension. I need to know
how to modify my assessments to best show
student mastery and acquisition. Furthermore,
I need to know how to use technology tools
that would provide me the opportunity to do
this, such as the on-line applications, Naiku
and Formative.
As a technology facilitator of this
learning experience, I need to remain current
on new tools that would enable my ESL
students to translate text, as needed, provide
passages at their reading level, allow students
to work collaboratively to problem solve, and
