To whom it may concern-

Partnered with the Boys and Girls Club, Navkirn Saini and her club, Students Pursuing
Indigenous Cultural Education, SPICE, hosted a wonderful event for our elementary school aged
members. On November 16th, 2017, SPICE educated a group 20 children about the History of
Thanksgiving. During the program members were led by the high-school volunteers in a story
about the first thanksgiving and walked through a review and discussion about our history
which was followed with a culturally relevant craft. Myself as well as the children were
delighted in the program and couldn’t speak more highly of Navkirn and her team’s
performance.
