Dock Leader Values

Nifty Nine:
- Prayer: We seek to be people who pray without ceasing to experience the presence of God, the
power of the Holy Spirit, and changed lives in ourselves and our teenagers.

- Discipleship: We seek to be people who model what it means to be a disciple who make disci-
ples.

- Worship: We seek to be people who deeply engage in worship through singing, prayer, and
spontaneous shouts of praise to God both corporately and individually.

- Outreach/Service: We seek to be people who love their neighbors and care for the lost by en-
gaging in regular outreach and service activities.

- Friendship: We seek to be friends on a mission (along with the youth) who support, encour-
age, and laugh with one another.

- Kingdom (power) lifestyle: We seek to understand our part in God’s Kingdom and help bring
that kingdom from heaven to earth.

- Bible study: We seek to be people who set their hearts to know God through Scripture, living
out what it says, and teaching others the truths of the Bible.

- Clear Communication: We seek to be people who communicate clearly to one another, so that
everyone understands their role and value in the youth group.

- Christ Centered: We seek to be people who center our lives, hearts, and minds on Jesus Christ
in order to give us purpose, direction, and significance.
