APPLICATION FOR A BEGINNING ELECTRICIAN

A Metropolitan Beginning Electrician is defined as an individual who as no prior electrical experience, who is
enrolled in an electrician apprentice program, and who works under the immediate direction and supervision of
a Master or Journeyman Electrician. A Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician must be present on the
same jobsite and at any time for any electrical wiring project and no more than five (5) Beginning Electricians
can be on a job site for every one Master or Journeyman Electrician present. Additionally, the individual must
enroll in an approved apprenticeship program after working a period of one year as a Beginning Electrician.
