Dear Families,

We would like to introduce ourselves, we are Victoria Haynes and Marissa Frazier. We are students in the

education program at the University of Dayton. We will be spending twelve weeks with your students as part of

our Developmentally Appropriate Practice for Preschool course. During our time with your students we will be

teaching three lessons focused on science. Our topic of discussion will be ramps, including how they work, how

weight of an object will affect the distance travelled on the ramp, and the geography and function of ramps. All

of the lessons will include hands-on activities, and investigations that will further your students learning in all

content areas. We look forward to our time in the classroom with your students, and appreciate your continued
