Funding Opportunity Title: Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Research and Piloting

2. The proposal must include information regarding the research process or measures the
receiver of the grant will implement, along with how the predicted budget.

3. The initial inquiry should have a max length of around 500 words. Stage 2, a more indepth
proposal, has a max length of 5 pages.

4. No information organization guidelines were given. All it mentions is that any data or graphs
should be included where necessary, which would be around relevant text.

5. The initial inquiry should contain the following information:

• At least one research question to be addressed through an application
• The geographic scope of interest
• Potential partnerships or collaborative relationships (not necessarily definitive or fully
confirmed partnerships or collaborative relationships)
• Relevant background information surrounding the research question
• Appropriate contact persons with the organization that is eligible to compete
While there are no formal requirements or limits on the information required at this stage; it is
highly recommended that the submission of an initial inquiry be abbreviated, concise, and
plainly present information needed.

The main proposal though goes much more into detail. Basically though the format is to have a
cover page, some concept pages, and a budget page.

guidelines though). Most likely though they proposal will be judged on its feasibility,
resourcefulness, and likelihood of achieving the grants goal (cutting down on terrorism).
