Dear Mr. Hershey:

Re: Faulty Bike Saddle

On January 17, 2018, I bought “Schwinn Men’s GTX 1” Hybrid Bike, model number 36217, serial
number 765399-2189 at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Store located at 6445 Northlake Mall Dr.,
Charlotte, NC 28216. I paid $399.99 for the bike on my credit card. Dick’s Sporting Goods
delivered the bike to my home on January 22, 2018.

Unfortunately, your product has not performed well because the saddle is defective. I am
disappointed because the saddle keeps on sliding down due to a faulty saddle height adjuster.
Due to this reason, the saddle is unsteady and rocks while I am riding my bike, which makes it a
very unpleasant experience. I have not used the bike in a way that would cause any damage to
the saddle height adjuster. I returned to the store on January 24 and January 25 but the store
manager, Justin Faraday, would not speak to me even after multiple attempts to communicate.

To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if your company would pick up this bike, for free, and
refund the $399.99 I paid. Enclosed are copies of my records including the photos of the faulty
saddle height adjuster, delivery invoice and my receipt.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until February 28, 2018
before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or Better Business Bureau. Please
contact me at the above address or by phone at (704-604-0694).

Sincerely,

Mehmet Soner Calis
