Halle's Sway

1 - acute angle

In the picture, my arm is an acute angle. By definition, an acute angle is less than 90 degrees.
2 - circle

In this picture there are circles in the background. There are no sides in a circle.
3 - congruent segments

In the back, the mats on the wall are congruent segments. Congruent segments by definition, are congruent to each other.
4 - obtuse angle

When i was pitching my arms were in an obtuse angle. An obtuse angle is more than 90 degrees.
5 - parallel lines

On the flag the lines are parallel. Parallel lines never cross.
6 - perpendicular lines

On the big chair, the slats are perpendicular to each other. The slats intersect each other forming right angles making them
perpendicular.
7 - quadrilateral

The sign that is held up has 4 sides and 4 angles so it is a quadrilateral. The sign has 4 sides and angles which make it a
quadrilateral.
8 - radius

In the circled area, the radius of the wheel of the table is outlined. The radius of a circle is half the diameter.
9 - rectangle

On the fence, there is a rectangle displayed. The rectangle has 4 sides and 4 congruent 90 degree angles.
10 - right angle

On the top of the mirror there is a right angle portrayed. The lines intersect each other and are perpendicular so it is a right
angle.
11 - right triangle

In the big chair there is a right triangle. One of the angles of the triangle is 90 degrees making it a right triangle.
12 - square

On the floor, the tile is in a shape of a square. The square has 4 congruent sides and 4 congruent angles.
13 - straight angle

On the top of the fence, there is a straight line displayed. The straight angle is 180 degrees.
14 - supplementary angles

On the sign, the angles highlighted are supplementary. The two angles added together are 180 degrees.
15 - triangle

In the picture, the Christmas tree is a triangle. The tree has 3 sides and 3 angles which make it a triangle.
