to the End of the Year

Dear Parents,
The end of the school year is quickly approaching. We will be counting down the last 26
days of school from A-Z from Monday, April 30th-June 6th. Below you will find an explanation
of each letter day. Participation for each day will be based on completion of classwork,
homework, and behavior in class. If you can donate any items to help make our countdown
successful, please let us know. Your help, as always, is greatly appreciated!

A. Animal Day- Bring a small stuffed animal to sit on your desk today!
B. Bubbles Day- We will have bubble fun during recess!
C. Collage Day- Bring in stickers, magazines, and pictures to make a collage!
D. Dance Day- We will dance the day away!
E. Experiment Day- We will do fun Science experiments in class!
F. Favorite Book Day- Bring your favorite book to school to share and read.
G. Game Day- Bring in your favorite board or card game!
H. Hats and Hula Hoops Day- Wear your favorite hat to school and get ready for a hula
hoop contest at recess!
I. Ice Cream Day- Enjoy some ice cream after lunch, a sure way to get ready for a hot
summer!
J. Joke Day- Bring in a joke to tell the class!
K. Kings and Queens Day - Wear your fancy outfits like a king or queen and get ready for
some royal fun!
L. Lollipop Day- How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? We
will find out today!
M. Music Day- We will listen to a variety of music while we work and learn!
N. Nickname Day – We will be thinking of fun nicknames for ourselves, making name tags,
and calling each other by our new names for the day!
O. Outside Day- We will spend some time learning outside today.
P. Popsicle Day- We will cool down with popsicles today after lunch!
Q. Quack Day - We will be reading some quacky stories and playing Duck Duck Goose!
R. Relay Race Fun Day- We will play some fun relay race games outside today.
S. Show and Tell Day- Bring in something to show off to the class!
T. Team Spirit Day- Wear a shirt to represent your favorite sports’ team.
U. Work Under Desk Day- Today we will complete some of our work under our desks!
V. Video Day- We will watch a fun video today!
W. Win Day- We will all WIN at our End of the Year Bowling Party!!!
X. eXtra Recess Day- Today we will spend some extra time at recess across the street at
Seminole Park!
Y. Year End Celebration Day- We will celebrate the end of the school year, and have a
hotdog picnic outside today! Please still send lunch as a hot dog might not be enough!
Z. Zoom Out of School Day- It’s our last day! Have a wonderful summer!
