U of M Systems Occupational and Physical Therapy

355 Briarwood Circle
Ann Arbor, MI, 48178

To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and for considering me for the open position as an
Occupational Therapist at your facility. I would love to be a part of your company, and I think I would be
a good selection for this position as well.

I am dedicated to completing any task to the best of my ability and using my time and/or skills to benefit
others. I push myself to get involved in new opportunities that require helping people and find that it is
very natural for me to do so. A career as a therapist would allow me to aid so many people in various
tasks, and I believe it is such a necessary and valuable job that I would take pride in acquiring.

Throughout my four years at high school, I chose to partake in several clubs and courses that focused on
helping other students. I have been working with up to 10 students each semester that have learning or
social disabilities, and I still learn more each day regarding how to help them with social interactions,
school work, cleanliness, and other life skills. My experience with these students has been so rewarding,
and it has definitely been the best part of my high school career.

Associates and employers would say I am hard-working, kind, and helpful. I am personable, independent,
and compassionate in every aspect of my life and project these qualities into any workplace. I will bring a
positive attitude to your establishment and strive to exceed any expectations every day.

I plan on pursuing Occupational Therapy to the best of my ability and hope that I can do so at this
organization. Thank you for your time, and I hope you will consider scheduling an interview at your
convenience. Please feel free to contact me at 231-878-6351 for further inquisitions.

Sincerely,

Alexis Hauck
