LESSON 1- My Family as Church

A happy family is a family that is united. A family is united together by love and
concern for one another. It is important for parents, daughters and sons to give love to one
another.
Jesus keeps the Christian family united in love.

Here are some acts of love that make your family united.
 Being patient
 Showing concern
 Giving joy
 Making peace
 Helping each other

LESSON 2- Love and Respect for My Parents

Being born into a family makes me feel loved. We have people to protect us and look
after us.
Jesus belonged to a family. He lived in Nazareth and grew up as a loving child to his
parents.

Here are some examples to become a loving and respecting child to your parents like Jesus:

 Saying “po and opo” while talking with them

 Obeying them
 Telling the truth
 Being honest
 Kissing and hugging them

LESSON 3- Obedience for Parents and Persons in Authority

Jesus wants us to follow his ways. He wants us to obey our parents, teachers, elders,
and those in authority. To please God we must obey what he wants. We will know what God
wants through our parents and those people who help us grow to become good children.

Here are some examples to become an obedient child:

 Following the rules given by the teachers

 Listening to the elders
 Obeying the command of your parents
 Wearing your school I.D. inside the school campus.
