School. The game was not in Browns favor. “Nice start.

Honestly, that team was playing their last game of the

season and we were playing our first game.” Said number

33 in an interview. “For our first game, we were playing

pretty good.” Says Sabrina, another Member of the team.

“We got destroyed!” says Hailey. Nonetheless, Brown Middle

School lost their first game.

Brown Middle School V.S. Terrace Hills Middle School

at Eastwood Knolls Middle School. The grade 7 girls’

basketball team went against Terrace Hills and Brown

won.
Prior to the game I interviewed some of the members.

Number 33 said,” for the rest of the season, I think we will

do better if we still have integrity and perseverance.”

The players of the second game of the season go as

followed: Hailey L., Melina P., Amanda R., Sabrina B.,

Edith L., Genessis M., Stephanie C., Dawnelle S., Marianna

V., Sophia P., Natalie Z., Cassandra F., and Anahi D. By

the half time the score 16 to 4 with Brown in the lead.

The second game of the season provided hope for the

team. At the very end of the game, the score was 36 to 11

with Brown in the lead. The referees of the game were

David Aguirre and Mr. Thornton.

At the next Saturday game, Brown continues the

winning streak with the kids winning at 14. Hailey scored

9 of those points, Anahi with 4, and Amanda with 1.

At the next game on Wednesday, it was crazy. It took

place at Henderson and it was Bulldogs V.S. Hornets. The

game started off very intense with the two going against

one another. After a while, the game derailed for Brown. A

crowd member, Mario, came to see his daughter, number

14, at the game. He was a Hornet. His daughter was

playing for three years. Another crowd member, Ms. Jones,

came to support Brown and her daughter, Edith Lara,

number 12.
The game kept on going downhill from there. It ended

up with the score being 28 to 16. But so far, the Bulldogs

have been doing an awesome job. Keep on going Lady

Bulldogs!.
