The 60’s Culture Influence

Looking back to the rock and roll history, it was one of the historical
moments of mankind. The name “Rock Music” it self create people’s mindset
to think back in the 60-80’s era. At first rock music was born after the world
war, when people are depressed, feeling lost, no homes, and no way of living.
As the times goes by, since the music firstly invented by Guido D'Arezzo in
1000 CE and technology growing rapidly since the world war, the music
culture has improved.
When the classic music meets technology it create a new taste to
people. The music makes people move on from the war depression and they
use music to find happiness. If we could find a word it will be called “for party”.
A time when people celebrate, having fun, sing a song and put their heart
together.
Music becomes a part of human culture, it unites people, help people
to be happy and deliver messages trough music. As many teenagers consider
popular music recorder back to 30 – 40 years ago such as Led Zepplin, AC-
DC, Bon Jovi, Def leppard, Metallica, Van Halen because they are a legend.
This band called a legend because they are the first influential band that
triggers all of today’s music.
When Led Zepplin first appears people are going crazy, these bands
are part of the band that firstly uses “technology instrument” such as electric
guitar, distortion, amplifier, synthesizer, and other instrument. Rock music
mainstream was known as a fast, wild music. It is also because these genres
are the first genre that adopts classical music and blues music.
That's why band form the 60 – 80’s are considered as “Legend”
because they are the trigger of the all music. Since rock genre appear a lots
of sub genre was born that follows subculture preference like glam metal,
heavy metal, death metal, pop rock which follows to future genre like jazz,
pop, hip hop, rap, etc.
 Back in World War era, usually men have higher position than women
but since the world become peace, human rights rises, human welfare,
freedom expression and people can voice their mind. Women living culture
has been the same for decades, they live apart with the men’s world. They
can’t work, can’t do heavy work (ex. Joining the army), they must serve the
men, working in the house, preparing food and rising child. But the culture
changes after people have the right to speak their voice.
Now we must treat women, as we were the same level of human being,
we can't harass women, insult them and they can work with the same position
as men. The men must become gentlemen to respect women, the old culture
toward women is now gone. From the TV news sometimes we can see some
problem towards discriminating women, and other problems but we people
fight and the law protects this issue with the gender equality.
Since than the women issue will be responded and protected by the
law. One of the things that make this world peace since the World War is the
rise of Justice. Every people have the same right, equality for both gender and
all races, and unity of culture diversity.
In this century it is not a surprise a women can have a career, they can
make for a living, they can make any decision, can access the same
education like men and even they can become a leaders. In 2016 Hilary
Clinton become the first American President candidate for a major big political
party the Democratic Party. This show that now even a women can have the
chance to lead a country.
In 1872 a very inspiring women, Victoria Woodhull, become the first
female president candidate. She was an activist that fight for women rights,
she express her idea on social reforms, including women's suffrage, birth
control and free love. Therefore in order to express her idea she form a
political power and run for presidency.
Technology becomes one of an instrument that creates big major
change in human life. The invention mobile phone, Internet, television,
camera and audio help human to open up the world. All of the technology
mentioned above not only creates changes in the entertainment industry but
also to human knowledge.
 When Steve Jobs firstly have a vision, he wanted to make people can
have a computer at home because back then a single computer is big enough
to covered up a whole room. He started by making apple the macbook, and
now as you can see people now have smartphone, laptops and use it in
everyday life. It helps our life easier to work and even some work is required
technology like computers.
Before the civilian can have computers, many technologies come from
military. Like the Enigma that is used back in the World War to send an
encrypted messages telegram that encrypt the original messages. Now days
computer engineers coded and make an algorithm to encrypt any personal
information in computers. Such as when we make an account or login as an
account, to keep save our personal information the algorithm of the program
will encrypt our personal information into a random alphabet code in the
server and it uses mathematical logic to randomize the information into a code
like what Enigma does.
It is true that those technologies connects people easier, creating a
new living culture and help daily life routine. Camera, audio, Internet, mobile
phone makes invisibility to the world. People can access information way
easier and know events around the world; they can read it trough newspaper,
news from TV and radio. People are no longer blinded and isolated, they can
reveal justice, they can rise voices way more easier and government can’t use
their political power recklessly because citizen around the world are
monitoring.
These technologies help revealing justices, and fulfill the right for
people to gain information. We can know what is happening in the world real
time and citizen can’t be fooled by the government and take advantages to
taken control by their fault information.
