Allison Ramey

I don’t remember any major interruptions in the classroom. There were a few, but they

were very short interruptions. Sometimes, the teacher had to take a second to make the class, or a

group of the class, pay attention to her. These interruptions lasted for less than a minute. It was

usually the students who were responsible for the interruptions. I know that the class is an honors

class, so maybe the students were less disruptive because they cared about learning the material.

My suspicion is that they knew that Mrs. Sutton would call them out individually if they tried to

talk when she was talking. She has done that before, so maybe they know better now. I think that

would be an effective strategy for preventing interruptions.
