Teaching Experience
Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow I, II, Sept. 2016-Present
An elective course for students interested in the field of education. The class includes
observation experiences in multiple schools, service learning opportunities and a 30 hour
internship. As a second year students. I am now completing a 75-hour internship at
Tallwood Elementary School.
Sunday school teacher's assistant 2015- Present
Helped teach kindergarten through 5th grade. I helped the children and assisted teachers
with the lesson.
​G.R.O.W.S. Summer program- Summer 2017
This program was for rising Seniors who want to be teachers. I went to Virginia State
University for a week and learned a lot about the teaching profession and what all it
entails. Went to Washington D.C and met with Mark Warner’s team as well as Bob
Scott’s team.
