DDB Named Network of the Year and Digital Agency of the


Year at the 2018 African Cristal Festival

Marrakesh / May 5, 2018 / DDB Worldwide, part of Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC), was
named “Network of the Year” and Tribal Worldwide Morocco was named “Digital
Agency of the Year” at the 2018 African Cristal Festival, which took place in Marrakesh,
Friday May 4th.

The network was awarded across nine categories: Digital, Film, Film Craft, Integrated,
Outdoor, Press, Promo and Direct and Radio, as well as African Culture.

The DDB agencies in Morocco took home an impressive six Gold for clients such as
Mondelez, Royal Air Maroc and Umnia Bank.

In addition, the agency in Egypt took home the Grand Crystal in Film for “Mother
Russia” Tiger, and Film Gold for Hyundai “Italy Didn’t Make It”.

This year’s Network of the Year win marks the second time in three years that DDB has
taken home the title. DDB was also named Network of the Year in 2016. In addition,
Omnicom was recognized as Holding Company of the Year at the 2018 event.
