• Teaching approach: I will use the TPR approach.

• Materials and resources: puppets – Flashcards of animals– video –a dice.

• Seating arrangement: Students will be sitting in a circle during the


presentation and practice stage. During the game, they will be standing in a
circle. During the practice part students will be sitting on a chair working
on the tables.

• Assessment: what will be assessed and how: I will assess my students


comprehension by producing the vocabulary they have learnt and checking
their physical response to it .In case of not understanding I will give them
alternatives for example “is it blue or black ? is it a mouse or a cat” . So
when the student hears the words I will assess if he can recognize them.

Routine: 5’

, I will get into the classroom and I will greet my students: “Hello!”.
Students answer: “HELLO!” and I will continue by asking: “How are you
today? Happy or sad?
Students answer: “HAPPY”.
Then I will ask them: “Are you ready to say hello? Yes or no?”
Students answer: “Yes”
Lastly, I will ask them to stand up and form a circle to sing the “Hello
song” and dance.

I will tell my students to call my friend Pepe usig gestures

Warm-up 10’:
Look! Pepe has got a new friend called PACO let call PACO Students will
shout “Pacoo”
Say hello to Paco
Students will answer “hello”

I will ask how many animals are there? Lets count: One two
What color is Paco?
Students will answer: yellow and pink

Paco will say “do you know how to count?” Students will say “yes”
Ok lets count”
One two three …“Ok great job .
I will do the same to revise the animals by making Pepe show the
flashcards
Presentation 10´
I will make students stand up and I will show them the following video .
Then they are going to name the animals in the video and sing
First I will stop the video to name the animals and then I am going to play
it again to sing it.

Activity 1 10´
I will show students A dice

I will play music when the music stops students have to roll the dice .If
they get one two three no they “high five”ifthey get four five or six they
answer a question

“Ok Bruno, pass the dice oh no ! the music stops ok roll the dice (using
gewstures)can you answer the question? What is this? It is a rabbit great
job !
Let`s continue “Juan,Pas the dice . Good! You have 1 point ” high five !!
Excellent job!

And I wil continue with the other students and body parts
Activity 2 20´
I will divide students in 4 groups
I will make them sit in a circle and I will give each group a puzzle of
an animal to form
Then they will have to colour it and glue it in a colour sheet of paper
Closure 5´
I will invite students to stand in a circle and watch the following video and
imitate my gestures
Oh no! It is time to say bye bye.Let`s sing “the bye bye song”!
