Mary Lou Vredenburg is the owner of Linden and Ashby Home Furnishings at 205 River Street in
Troy. She sells a mixture of antiques from auctions to trendy new items. While owning and managing
her shop, Vredenburg also teaches part time at SUNY Albany.

Q What got you involved in this business?

A My sister opened a consignment store and I loved it so I wanted to open something similar.

Q What types of home furnishings do you sell at Linen & Ashby?

A I sell some furniture, an assortment of candle
