SLOW PAN TOWARDS THE BUSINESS DOORD

Barely noticeable (muffled) rock music plays

Doors from office building burst open as well dressed
business man, wearing huge head phones
(upbeat Rock music in time
with door swinging open)
LOW ANGLE SHOT OF RICH MAN OPENING BUILDING DOORS.
Hits woman in the face but carries on walking
(She shouts but he doesn’t
listen)
Woman taps his shoulder
CUTS TO CLOSE UP OF RICH MAN

(BIG HEADPHONES) Turns and gives her a death stare without

even taking headphones off.
RICH MAN
"Whistles the tune"
(Bright colours for this
scene)
CONTINOUS TRACKING SHOT FROM INFRONT
WALKS INTO THE CAMERA

2 UNDER BRIDGE 2
VERY LOW SLIDING SHOT AND AS HOMELESS MAN COMES INTO SHOT.
CAMERA STOPS.

(Sounds of woman walking with

CUTS BACK TO THE LOW SHOT OF HOMELESS MAN

Homeless man gets up tries to help pick it up

Homeless man steps away

Passer by scowls and looks up and down at the homeless man’s

scraggy clothes and scurries away with the shopping in hand.
(Homeless man looks as this
has happened many a time and
sits back down)

CAMERA MOVES IN MOTION WITH HOMELESS MAN SITTING DOWN.

HOMELESS MAN
"sighs."

Homeless man stands up

CAMERA MOVES UP IN MOTION
FOLLOWS HIM AS HE IS WALKING (OPPOSITE OF THE RICH MAN SHOT)

Wide angle of a train going past (really intense train

sounds ends scene.

CUTS TO TOWN
(Gross loud eating noise
initiates the scene)
PAN ROUND THE BACK OF THE RICH MANS HEAD
The rich man counts money while eating a sandwich getting
the contents of it everywhere.
CLOSE UP OF HOMELESS MAN ENGROSSED IN THE RICH MANS SANDWICH
A LOUD NOISE OF COINS BEING THROWN IN A CUP WAKES THE
HOMELESS MAN UP
P.O.V SHOT OF THE CONTENTS OF THE CUP.
(Shows one-pound coins, a rock
and 49 pence)

Homeless man moves toward the pound

Rich man moves towards the pound

(Intense sounds begin to rise)

BOTH HANDS ENTER AT OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE SHOT

Both have a finger and thumb on the pence.
RICH MAN

Looks at the homeless man like dirt on the ground

HOMELESS MAN
Looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights

CLOSE UP OF HOMELESS MAN

"C’mon man I clearly need it more than you"
RICH MAN

CLOSE UP OF RICH MAN

Grinds his teeth
"Give me the pound..."
(Both begin to struggle more)

HOMELESS MAN
Looks at the rich mans other hand noticing the many notes
and scowls

PACE OF CUTS INCREASE

Pan around (Gimble) view of crowd gathering
Crowd person stands on camera mans foot. Look down
(Intense noises resume)

Pushes homeless man over and runs off with the pound
HOMELESS MAN

"HEY!!"

Sprints after the rich man

(SLIDER SHOT) CAMERA SLIDES OUT FROM BEHIND A WALL INTO VIEW
OF THE TWO RUNNING AFTER EACH OTHER.

Rich man trips over camera

Homeless man jumps on rich man

(Pound drops and rolls away
from the fight)
LOW GROUND SHOT OF THE POUND
(Focuses on the pound while
the two roll around in the
background)
(Music fades down in volume)
RE-FOCUSES ON THE TWO FIGHTING ON THE FLOOR

They get up and chase each other while the camera remains on
the floor.
(Music slowly regains volume)
WIDE ANGLE ALLEY SHOT

The two characters engage in combat

RICH MAN
(Pushes homeless man into the wall)

CAMERA MOVES TO THE RIGHT FOLLOWING THE ACTION AGAINST THE

WALL
HOMELESS MAN

(Pushes rich man to the other side of the alley on the other
wall)
REVERSE SHOT OF THE ACTION GOING BACK TO THE OTHER WALL
WIDE ANGLE SHOT

HOMELESS MAN
Throws two punches (The first one missing but the second one
connecting in the face)

REACTION SHOT OF RICH MAN RECEIVING PUNCH

RICH MAN
Kicks homeless man then punches him.

Runs of around the corner

Chases him after getting up.
6 ALLEYWAY FIGHT SCENE 6

WIDE ANGLE OF THE HOMELESS MAN CHASING THE RIH MAN ACROSS
THE ROAD.
COMPACT WALL SHOT AS THE TWO RUN PAST IN QUICK FASHION.

LONG WIDE ANGLE OF THE ALLEY

Rich man shakes his arms in preparation for the fight (close
up shot). The homeless man begins to run and then the rich
man does the same (Close ups of both then it cuts back to
the wide angle. The rich man throws a punch to the homeless
mans face but dodges and throws a blow to the his stomach
and then punches him in the face. The rich man staggers and
there is a pause while he regains focus. The homeless man
then runs toward him with anger on his face. but the rich
man steps aside and trips him up. The two look at each
other... The rich man begins running again and the chase
resumes.
They both run around the corner and the camera remains
motionless.
MONTAGE SEQUENCE. (QUICK FAST PACED EDIT, RUNNING, LOUD
NOISES)
7 DALSTON BRIDGE SCENE 7
ESTABLISHING WIDE ANGLE
(Two characters chasing each
other still )
OUT OF FOCUS SHOT SLOWLY TURNING INTO FOCUS.
The homeless man once again catches up and pushes rich man
up against the wall, he hits him twice in the face. The rich
man ducks for the third and he punches the wall. The rich
man gives two blows to his stomach. Homeless man catches the
third punch and kicks the rich mans legs and he drops to the
floor. He starts to raise his foot to finish him off with a
foot to the face.

HOMELESS MAN
Hand it over
RICH MAN
(Laboured) I don’t... have it

(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 7.

HOMELESS MAN
What!? Well where is it!?
CUTS TO A SHOT OF THE POUND STANDING ON ITS SIDE OUTSIDE THE
CAFE.
(Both look at each other and
intense sounds begins. Music
kicks in)
Montage of them chasing each other
all the way back to the cafe.

REACTION SHOT OF THE TWO CHARACTERS

camera pans around to show 2 other people fighting over the
same pound. Cuts to black.
