Vision
To provide a holistic education in a safe and secure environment that would develop and prepare learners to become positive
and functional members of a democratic Namibia. We will be recognised as the leading Senior Secondary School
in Kunene Region, providing a caring and holistic education responsive to the needs of our diverse
community which embraces tradition and recognises national and global developments.

Mission
We, at Putuavanga Secondary School, are committed to delivering inclusive quality education by focusing on the
development of the child in totality. We will build on the culture and tradition of the past, while always striving
to improve the interaction between the staff, pupils, parents and the community.

MOTTO
The very first scholars that opened the doors of Putuavanga Senior Secondary School believed strongly that “Education
Emancipates”. That believe was then adopted as the official Motto of the School Since 1991.
