Case Study Presentation

You will be required to find a case study related to your career and present it in class on July 17th
or July 19th. This presentation, which is worth 20 points of your final grade, will be used as
assessment for Units III and IV.

Guidelines for case study presentation:


- The case study must be related to one of the topics studied in class
- This presentation must be done in pairs
- You should use audio and/or visuals when presenting
- Both partners must actively participate when presenting
- You must hand in the typed case study and Power Point Presentation the day it is due
- When typing, you should use Times New Roman style and a 12 font size
- Reading from your notes is not allowed
- Each team will have 10 minutes to present their case

Assessment criteria (20%)


- The team follows the guidelines described above (5%).
- The written text shows coherence, cohesiveness, correct use of grammar, technical
vocabulary, and punctuation marks. (5%).

Coherence: the text shows a logical organization of the author's ideas that allows its
understanding. There are no information gaps or grammatical problems that impede the
clarity of the statements.
Cohesiveness: ideas are related to each other through the use of connectors to indicate the
type of idea: addition, contrast, cause-effect, sequence, etc. The progression of the ideas
developed is evident in each of the paragraphs of the text and between the various
paragraphs that comprise it.
- Presentation is well organized and slides presented in an orderly manner (2%)
- There is an effective delivery of presentation: posture, pronunciation, voice pitch, speed
and non-verbal communication. (6%)
- Appropriate use of time (2%)
