1 Introduction

In this experiment, geological map was a special-purpose map made

to show geological features. It represent the distribution of different
types of rock and surficial deposits. Rock units or geologic strata
were shown by color or symbols to indicate where they were
exposed at the surface. It also was the primary source of information
for various aspects in order to help identify ground-water aquifers,
land-use planning and aid in locating water-supply wells. The
geological map allows the geological structure of the country to be
inferred.
