* PANTANAL (pousada rio clarinho) (1 night) – The landscape here consists of woodland,
savanna and gallery forest, homeland to birds, caimans, turtles, deers, monkeys, armadillos and
giant river oters.Here we will explore the landscape by paddle boat, horse, on foot and night
safari.

* PORTO JOFRE CAMPSITE (3 nights) – The landscape here consists of wetland, open fields,
forests and flooding grassland, homeland to mammals specially jaguars, capybaras, anteaters,
monkeys and otthers, and birds as hyacinth macaws, toucans and others. Here we will explore
the area by motor boat, on foot and night safari.

DAY 1 – CUIABÁ / PANTANAL

Early depart to Pocone distant 110
km from Cuiaba, where we will do
a short stop to visit the town. In
Poconé, we will start our
adventure driving 42 km via the
Transpantaneira road crossing
wetlands and woodlands doing
several stops for our first contact
with the local flora and fauna. After
42 km we will drive 3 km left via a
narrow private road inside the
Ranch/Lodge area surrounded by
high trees, arriving at lunch time. This afternoon we will go out by paddle boat along the
Clarinho and Claro rivers with their meandrous of almost 360 turn; returning to the Lodge at the
end of the day. Around 7:30 PM a delicious dinner will be served for us. This night we will go out
to observe the nocturnal species as well as the beautiful sky with the stars and constellations of
the southern hemisphere.

DAY 2 – PANTANAL (pousada

rio clarinho) / PORTO JOFRE
CAMPSITE
Starting before sunrise we will
climb a 20 m height watch tower
built around trees from where we
will watch the sunrise and hearing
birds sounds over a nice view of
the landscape. After breakfast, we
will horseback ride or piranha
fishing, you decide it. Return to the
lodge at lunch time. In the
afternoon, we will move to the
campsite distant 100 km from Pousada Rio Clarinho Lodge located at the end of the
Transpantaneira road in the banks of the Cuiaba river crossing beautiful landscape with patches
of forest and wetlands arriving on time to see the sunset and hear the wildlife symphony. Dinner
will be served followed a speech of our guide about the area, flora and fauna through maps and
books also the excursions details that will be developed in the next days.

DAY 3 and 4 – PORTO JOFRE

CAMPSITE
Starting early in the morning, we
will take a motor boat upstream of
the Cuiaba, Piquiri and Tres
Irmaos rivers, where the chances
to spot jaguars, giant river otters,
and other mammals are very high.
This will be a full day excursion
and we will take our lunch on
board (picnic style), returning to
the campsite at the end of the day
after watching an astounding
sunset in the Cuiaba river waters. Dinner followed by night safari by car.
 DAY 5 – PORTO JOFRE
CAMPSITE/CUIABA
In the morning, we will return to
Cuiaba via the Transpantaneira
road where we will do several
stops for our last contact with the
local flora and fauna, stopping in
the middle of the way to have
lunch at the Pousada Rio Clarinho.
Arriving in Cuiaba at the afternoon.
