My greatest strength this semester is my ability to connect with the kids, yet still have their respect. My
weakness is my limited knowledge of AV and Robotics, the subject my mentor teaches. I can work on
improving my overall knowledge of my project by looking at his lesson plans and researcing the topics in
advance to get the upper hand.

One thing I was able to learn about in my research was homework and how it should be employed. In
the article they discuss how students should be given ten minutes of homework for each grade they've
been in. That is how to properly build a student's attention span so that they'll be able to properly do
homework. This will aid me in building my pretend class.

I believe my three greatest strengths are my focus on the task at hand, my connection with my students,
and my compassion. My weaknesses are my lack of experience, lack of knowledge of the class I am
teaching, and lack of organization. I most need improvement in my organization.

My mentor walked me through the process in which he gets ready for a track meet at school. There
were various forms he needed in order to be properly prepared for the meet.

In my most recent meeting with my mentor, I interviewed him. This allowed me to gain a better grasp
on his philosophical approach as a teacher. I feel prepared for both my final presentation and project. I
feel as though everything is coming together well.

I met with my mentor and we discussed him working towards his Masters. He going to study at Lamar,
along with Mrs. Pesceyne. He stressed the importance of higher education and maintaining momentum
with learning. I learned that one never stops learning and bettering their education. It is important to
keep adapting

4/23/18

I met with my mentor last Thursday. During my mentorship, we discussed educational theories and
different ways to teach specific students. I then helped him organize his equipment room and organize
the new cameras and tripods he bought. I also helped observe one of his classes while he was out
running about. I think my mentorship has been successful this year. I have learned so much from this
experience./18
