2. SiteStar Description
SiteStar is a cabinet housing batteries either up to 2 strings or 4 strings depending
on the cabinet type. Cabinet is primarily meant to be used together with FPRA
Flexi Power Rectifier to power the BTS and charge the batteries inside SiteStar
cabinet.
SiteStar cabinet provides multiple alarms bundled into a single alarm output.
The alarm can either be connected as normally closed (NC) or normally open
(NO). The external alarm will be triggered by:
• CLU failure: compressor fail, heater fail (if equipped), fan fail or controller fail
• Temperature: Internal temperature outside regulation window or external
temperature outside system specification
• Door open
• Mains failure
During cabinet startup sequence the external alarm will be trigged several times.
Main 1
Mains phase failure indicates any single phase voltage of the 3-
Main 2
phase FPRA power source configuration that is below 85VAC
Main 3
Ext Alarm In • Remote-start for Battery Test (as default or SiteStar alarm in)
NOTE:
- these are the factory-default alarm settings
- user can re-configure the alarm settings as required

The procedure for installing and grounding the Alarm cable is as follows:
• Connect the screening to position ‘A’ on the drawer assembly with a cable-tie (refer to
Figure 6 for details) Ensure the cable screen firmly touches the sidewall of the drawer
as this provides the grounding of the cable screen.
