2012 METROBANK-MTAP-DEPED MATH CHALLENGE (MMC)

NATIONAL FINALS AND AWARDING CEREMONY

The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and the Mathematics Teachers Association
of the Philippines (MTAP), announce the 2012 Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge
(MMC) National Finals and Awarding Ceremony on April 20-21, 2012.
The National Individual Finals (Written) shall be held on April 20, 2012, 1:30-3:30
p.m. at the Main Function Room, Kabayan Hotel, Pasay City. The General Orientation will
follow at the same venue at 3:30 p.m. The National Oral Finals (Individual and Team) will
be held on April 21, 2012 at the Metrobank Plaza Auditorium, Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue,
Makati City. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., while the opening ceremony will immediately
follow. The awarding ceremony will be at 5:00 p.m.
All provincial individual and team contestants and coaches shall be billeted at the
Kabayan Hotel located at 2278 Zamora St., Rotonda, Pasay City with telephone nos.: (02)
891-7874; (02) 834-5574; (02) 834-5592 and (02) 702-2700. Participants are expected to be
at the hotel before noon on April 20, 2012. The concerned Metrobank branches shall make
the travel arrangements.
Travel, accommodation and meal expenses of all contestants and individual/team
coaches shall be shouldered by the MBFI.
The regional directors (RDs), schools division/city superintendents (SDSs),
regional/division Mathematics supervisors and principals are hereby authorized to attend
the National Finals and Awarding Ceremony. Details of travel (i.e. arrival time,
pier/terminal/plane carrier, etc.) must be relayed to MTAP for reference and guidance.
