Joel Joel will be the main character
in our production because he
fits the role as he an alternative
individual. Joel also
understood his role which will
be helpful during the filming
process because we won’t have
many problems.

Contingency plan
Weather:
During the planning and filming stage, we will need to make sure that Joe and I are
constantly checking the weather because we want to make sure the weather is suitable
enough for when we are filming. For the dream sequence in our production, we are
hoping it to be really sunny and bright. For the rest of production, we want the weather to
be fairly moderate and dull because our film will be quite dull and depressing. Due to
English weather, this may not be a problem. We will need to plan and look at the
PAGE 11
weather a week or two before so we know roughly what the weathers going to be like.
This means we can pick the days we want to film and let our actors know if they can film
that day. Due to the weather being unpredictable, Joe and I will need to check the
weather every day to see if it has changed. If the weather is not what we are looking for
the day we’re filming, we would have planned thoroughly and given us different days to
film.
Actors:
Our project is a short production that only requires two actors, two of the actors Joe and
I asked, are good friends of ours and would happily act in our production. However, if
anything were to go wrong with our actors we do have a back-up actor who would also
apply help out. Having a backup is important for our production and any production
because we really want a female actor in our production. Therefore, having two back-up
actors will be very helpful.
Equipment:
Equipment is one of the most important aspects when you are filming and therefore will
need to make sure to have spare equipment if any were break or malfunction. During the
filming process, Joe and I will both bring our cameras so if any were to get lost or break
then we can use the spare camera. By having two cameras, it means we also have two
lenses and two SD cards. Camera lenses can sometimes be an issue when you are
filming because it can sometimes too difficult focusing onto something and generally
difficult trying to get the shot you want. By having two, then we can use the spare if the
originally, one does not work. We will also have two SD cards and therefore if one were
to run out memory, then we can just use the spare.

Joe and I did not spend any money hiring equipment because we had all the equipment
