The Mole, the Myth, the Legend: Dave

One day in the middle of a nice crisp spring day, there was a mole that was sound asleep

in the ground. Dawn was just upon the village, and a tall, and skinny man with a lab coat appears

over the hillside. He has a backpack, filled with all of his equipment from the lab. The scientist

was out on a mission to find oxygen levels for a lab he would be conducting the next day. The

mole was awakened by him, trying to go back to sleep, but kept hearing the sound of the man

walking around above. So, the mole slowly walked up the hole, to investigate. Th mole saw the

scientist trying find good spot to set up his equipment. The mole slowly walked up to the

scientist and he pulled on the scientist pant leg and the scientist stared at him and the mole stared

back at him. The mole asked the scientist what his name was, the scientist responded

“Avagadro." The mole told the scientist said his name was Dave and then he asked Avagadro

why he was trampling around at the crack of dawn, Avagrado responded that he had to do an

experiment with the equation of 6.02 multiplied by 10 to the 23Avagrado responded that he had

to do an experiment with the equation of 6.02 multiplied by 10 to the 23 rd and that only equals 1

mole. The scientist had to do it 3 times for the experiment. The mole was so interested in the

experiment he had asked if he could join in the experiment. So, Avagrado allowed the mole to

work with him. When Avagrado did the experiment he was happy to discover that his mole has

worked. He was so happy that he let Dave keep working with him, in order to conduct more

experiments that he needed for his lab. Dave was so excited once he heard the news and

screamed “Horary.” Dave was given his very own lab coat, with the number 6.02 x 10 to the 23rd

stitched on the inside. This would always remind Dave the day his life changed forever, and

when he met the scientist. Dave the mole ended up being the best man in the scientists wedding,
and in his best man speech, Dave did not forget to talk about the number 6.02 x 10 to the 23rd,

MOLE!!!
