    The MATLAB files will work on Mac OS but the .exe installer file for Power Toolbox V5.4 is for Windows only. A UNIX script can be used to extract the archive in Mac OS X, otherwise the .zip file containing the Power Toolbox files can be unzipped instead.

    MAC OS Users

    All MATLAB files are platform independent and will work with Mac. The self-extracting
    file Power Toolbox V5.4.EXE is for windows OS and they won’t work in Mac OS
    X. You can use a UNIX script in OS X to extract the archive. Incase this doesn’t
    work; The Power Toolbox V5.4.zip is included in this subfolder, which contain all
    the Power Toolbox files. Unzip this file in a folder of your choice.
