3-1 Information Enhancement for Mode Select Parameter Page

Description When different hosts changed the same LDEV parameter page using the Mode Select command,
the processing could not succeed and the server down occurred. In order to identify if there is a
micro-program bug or not in this case, an information enhancement log about the parameter page
is output.

When the Mode Select command ends normally, the below information enhancement SSB are
output once per 10 minutes for each MP for the pages that support the command.
If system option mode 339 is set to ON, the following SSB are not output.

modified to improve the HDD command response.

(3) Memory reservation error when using Storage Navigator

Item Description
Contents When using Spreadsheet or Export tool on the Storage Navigator, the "Please call the Support
Center" message displayed.
Hi-Command operations not performed.
Conditions With either condition met, the SVP memory may run out.
1. Without rebooting the SVP, switch View to Modify using the Storage Navigator for 40,000
times or more.
2. The SVP has not been rebooted for four months or longer while Hi-Command is connected.
