LOCATION RECCE
LOCATION
My cousin’s back garden

LOCATION ADDRESS
122 Cumberland Street. Latchford, Warrington, WA4 1EZ

TYPE OF BUILDING/STRUCTURE/LANDSCAPE
Garden behind house.

WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?

The natural lighting from outside helps to make the photo contrast and brightness light enough, so that it is clear for the
reader to see everything on the image. The background of the photo makes it look unique and edgy, with some of the wall
looking modern and then there is also a brick wall next to it in with garden tools at the side. The modern background is
something that is likely to be seen in a photoshoot, but the garden side to it makes it look unusual with the outdoor
imagery.

ACCESS
I had easy access to this location, as it is part of my family’s home

TOP 3 RISKS IDENTIFIED ON LOCATION

(N.B. this does not replace the Risk Assessment form which must be carried out for any practical project)

Tripping over the garden tools, chairs or table.

There will also be dogs that may come outside, so you have to be careful to not walk into them.

Tools may fall if they are lent on the wall, so you need to keep away from them incase they do.

Describe the aesthetics of the location (e.g. Describe the potential camera shots or describe the acoustic value of the location)
I can get a lot of potential camera shots in the space of the back garden as I will have natural lighting, due to it being outside
so that I won’t have to adjust the brightness or contrast when editing, or use flash on the camera. Also the background of
the walls outside make the magazine look quite edgy and unusual.
