I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Ho Yee (Joey) Yeung who is applying
for the Consecutive Education at York University. Miss Yeung has been working as a French
teacher under my supervision at Safari Kid Markham since July 2016.

Miss Yeung is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing Summer, Saturday and
After-school French classes for children from JK to Grade 4 in our school. She has
demonstrated great enthusiasm in her work, and can always be depended upon in any
situation. She is a responsible teacher, who always arrives at work at least 15 minutes before
class and is always well prepared for the day’s activities. She is also a self-starter, who
maintains a positive attitude and remains calm in tense situations. In addition, she is a fast
learner, who is open to constructive feedback and is able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Miss Yeung is a friendly person, who is well-liked by her students, parents and colleagues.
She shows respect for individuals, and is responsive to children’s needs. She is also
approachable with parents, and communicates with them regularly regarding their children’s
progress. She plans and provides developmentally appropriate activities for the children, and
maintains a safe environment in the classroom.

I am positive that Miss Yeung will prove to be a valuable student with her professionalism and
positive work ethic. She has my full recommendation for the teaching program that she is
interested in.
