Turntable Operation

Turntable setup

1. Plug the Crosley Musician Entertainment Center into a safe power outlet.

2. Open the top lid to access the turntable.

3. Position the slide switch to PHONO.

4. Depress the power button to power the system.

Setting the vinyl on the platter

1. Place vinyl record on the platter so that the spindle slides through the center of the vinyl.

2. NOTE: If using a 45RPM size vinyl, place the 45-adapter on the spindle before placing the vinyl
on the turntable.

3. Move the RPM slide switch to the speed of the selected vinyl.

4. Slide the turntable power switch from OFF to ON.

Cueing the vinyl

1. First, check that the stylus (needle) cover is removed. To keep the cartridge and stylus
(needle) safe, do not discard the cover

Cartridge with stylus cover still on.

2. Slide the turntable power switch from OFF to ON.

3. Raise the tonearm by lifting the cue lever.

4. Pivot the tonearm over the edge of the vinyl record. Slowly pull the cue lever back down to
lower the stylus onto the vinyl.

5. Adjust the volume knob to the desired level.

Removing a vinyl

1. Push the cue lever to raise the tonearm from the vinyl.

2. Push the turntable power switch from ON to OFF.

3. Remove the vinyl record from the platter and return it to a safe storage area.

4. If the 45-adapter was used, then pull it off the spindle and return it to the adapter
compartment.

5. Replace the stylus needle cover on the cartridge.

6. Close the turntable lid and press the power button to shut off the Crosley Musician
Entertainment Center.
