YEARS AGO

Ago se usa CON PASADO SIMPLE de un periodo de tiempo hasta otro, para hablar
del tiempo transcurrido desde entonces.
100 years ago en español se traduce como 100 años atrás.

Para hablar en tiempo pasado se usa el pasado del verbo Be = ser, estar
que pasa a ser:
WAS: era, estaba o fue en singular (un o una persona o cosa).
Y WERE: eran, estaban o fueron en plural (para varias personas o cosas)

Para indicar el verbo HUBO o HUBIERON se usa THERE WAS: hubo O THERE
WERE: hubieron.

Ejemplos de frases con was y were:

Answer=Respuesta
Positive= positiva; Yes, there was. Si, lo hubo.

Answer=Respuesta
