Special free baggage regulations for Economy Class

On selected routes special free baggage allowances apply to Lufthansa Economy Class
passengers. Children under two years of age, for whom no separate seat has been booked, are
exempt from this regulation.

Two bags each weighing up to 23 kg are permitted free of charge

on the following routes:
From/to East-/West-/Central Africa (1/2/7)

Between the United States of America, Canada, Mexico and Afghanistan, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait,
Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen (3)

From/to Japan (3)

From Southern Africa (3/4)

Journey Origin in the United States of America or Canada and Journey Destination in South Africa (7)

Journey start in Canada and destination in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Serbia, Macedonia,
Bosnia and Albania (5)

Journeys starting in India and flying to the United States of America or Canada (5)

Journeys starting in the United States of America and flying to India (6)

Journey Origin in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador (7)

Start of journey in Brazil (5/7)

Two bags each weighing up to 32 kg are permitted free of charge
