ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
BLOCKING REHEARSAL

As accustomed, the Department of Education is asked to hold a night to present

and showcase their talents as a way of serving and expressing their gratitude to the
community; and to give honor to the Toledo City’s Patron Saint, St. John of Sahagun.
This night is popularly known as “DepEd Night.”
The presentation was scheduled on the second day of June, 2018. The teaching
and non-teaching personnel were called morning of the scheduled date to prepare and
finalize the blocking and rehearsal. To have a smooth sailing of the general rehearsal,
every school presenter is given an allowance of 15 minutes for the blocking and one-
round of practice. The teachers of Luray II National High School were the seventh to
present. Thus, while waiting for their turn, teachers also watched the performance of
every presenter.
During our turn, one teacher facilitated the blocking in every formation. Alignment
of each formation was polished. As the blocking was done, it was our time to do one
round of practice. After the general rehearsal, the teachers were called for a meeting to
finalize the make-up and costume. The teachers were also informed about the place
they were asked to sit during the event. After such meeting, the teachers went to their
respective homes. They were asked to be back at 6:00 in the evening as it was the
schedule for the DepEd Night.
