ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
BAYLE SA KALYE CONTEST

Sining Tanghalan showcases the extraordinary talents and skills acquired by

students in various Art areas: Music, Theater Arts, Dance, Media Arts, Visual Arts, and
Creative Writing. It is a contest composed of the following categories: Bayle sa Kalye,
Likhawitan, Pintahusay, Sineliksik, Sulatanghal, Direk ko, Ganap ko, and Himig Bulilit.
The Bayle sa Kalye, on the other hand, is a modern/contemporary street dance
skills exhibition anchored on the specific theme. Concept or theme for performance,
costume and props must be reflective and relevant to their locality but not limited to the
festivals.
The contest proper was schedule on the twenty-ninth day of September, 2018.
The dancers as well as the coaches were in Toledo National Vocational School at 8:00
A.M. We were unluckily the first to present. Our dancers get to perform first; there were
lots of cheers for them before, during and after their performance. Furthermore, their
concept of STUDENTS’ DREAM was amazed by the audience. After the presentation of
the three schools, we were asked to wait for the announcement of results. We didn’t
have a room to stay in which made us realize to go back to school, rest for a while, eat
lunch and come back later for the announcement of results.
We came back to school around 1:30 P.M. and still stayed under the canopy until
3:00 P.M. The announcement was done, we got the second ranked. After the
announcement, we went back home and made sure the students arrived safely.
