1. To create a welcoming environment for learners and parents

2. To provide information on the learning modality offered by the school
3. To provide opportunities for introduction, communication and interaction among school
personnel, parents and learners

No Budgetary requirement needed.

J. NARRATIVE REPORT:

Parents and guardians play big roles in the alternative learning strategies that will be
implemented considering that face to face classes has a little chance to implement because of the pandemic.
Ms. Ajie Marie V. Ela, grade 4 grade leader, announced at head of time that there will be a
Parents Orientation of all Grade 4 parents on September 14,2021. The invitation was posted on the
respective group chats and in official fb page of Grade 4. The said orientation was not mandatory and only
limited to those who have internet connection.
The Virtual Parents’ Orientation was divided into 2 groups wherein 4 sections was scheduled
in the morning and the rest of 4 sections was scheduled in the afternoon. Before the Virtual Parent’s

Orientation was started, the google meet link was given to the parents to those who wants to join. The
adviser of each section welcomes the parents, pupils and teachers who were joined in the virtual parent’s
orientation. The orientation was started by the prayer to e lead by one of the parents, followed by the audio-
visual presentation of National Anthem. Ms. Aika Joy M. Nardo, Grade 4-Eucalyptus adviser was assigned
to be a facilitator in the morning together with Ms. Alma J. Valido Grade 4-Narra Adviser, Ms. Marylyn D.
Tagulao Grade 4-Chesnut adviser and Ms. Mae A. Abanes Grade 4-Acacia adviser. There were given
specific topic to be discuss in the morning session. On the afternoon session, Ms. Raquel E. Torres was
assigned to be a facilitator and she discussed the topics given together with 4 remaining teachers, Ms. Ajie
Marie V. Ela Grade 4-Apitong adviser, Mr. Wilfer Edson B. Bangcoleng Grade 4-Yakal adviser and Ms.
Kristine D. Castillo Grade 4-Molave adviser.
Parents was very attentive in listening to the teachers who were discussed the agenda of the
orientation. The adviser discussed the following agenda: (1) What is Modular Distance Learning? (2)
Modular Distance Learning Dry Run (3) 5 P’s (4) Schedule of Distribution and Retrieval of Modules for
Grade 4. (5) Guidelines on the proper used of Modules (6) Things to do on the Retrieval and Distribution of
Modules (7) Individual Learning Progress Report.
There was an open forum between the teachers and parents wherein they were free to ask
questions regarding to the agenda that had been discussed. There were many questions raised by parents that
were answered well by the teachers. The orientation was ended ensuring that all matters that have been
tackled and agreed was fully understand by the parents.
