Grand Total of Bachelor of Arts degree: Part-I + Part-II = 800

Every candidate shall be required to offer and pass Islamic Studies (Ethics for
non Muslims) and Pakistan Studies (60+40 marks separately) and English Language
(200 marks) as compulsory subjects.

Elective Subjects
All candidates of affiliated college/s and private individuals have to select two elective
subjects from under mentioned list. Each subject has 200 marks. Two subjects of literature in
any language cannot be selected.

100 marks, Students shall be select / choose any one
paper from each of the following three (1,2&3) groups
at the time of admission. Each course shall be allotted
separate code.

Paper A - History of Pakistan Movement (1858-1947)


Paper A - History of Europe (1789-1871)
Paper A - History of Islam (Holy Prophet to the Pious
Caliphate)

Paper B - History of Pakistan (1947-1988)


Paper B - International Relations (1871-1945)
Paper B - Modern Muslim (Arab) World (1919-1970)
Note:
Student shall select Mathematics A Course only with Mathematics B Course. No separate
combination is allowed with Mathematics A Course / B Course with other subject in BA.
Students have to choose an Optional subject only with this combination.

Optional Subjects
Select one optional subject from given below for Bachelor of Arts in part- II Annual
Examination. Each subject carries 100 Marks. No candidate shall be permitted to take as
Optional subject which he /she has taken as Elective subject.
