When we returned home our plan was to return to return to Turkey for 2-months each year, and to begin to

ing 20-couples .

We have been blessed to have couples with a heart to serve married couples both home and abroad join our
team. We now have 5-couples that are trained and accredited by Intimate Life Ministries in Cedar
Park, TX.
2 couples have lived in Tukey 20-plus years, and 1 of the couples are taking the marriage resources to the
Turkish Church.
1 couple have been in private practice for over 30-years and live in Michigan and serve couples in their
home since retiring from their practices last year.
1- couple lives in Florida and serve couples from their home.
1-couple lives in Austin, TX. Prior to returning to Austin, TX, they served with Family Life in Budapest,
Hungary and are the connection to Eastern Europe.
1-couple lives in Cedar Park, TX , They serve in Relational Care Ministry at Northwest Fellowship.
1 couple from Hong Kong was able to shadow me in Istanbul for 3-consecutive weeks in March 2018. They
have a desire to become accredited to teach in Hong Kong.
All our Mentor/Facilitator couples pay for their own travel expense and lodging.
1- couple has paid the expense for food and lodging of one of the Eastern Europe Intensives for the past 3-
years.
Between 2012 & the end of 2016 we have lost 4 out of 5 supporting churches.
In 2016 Haven of Hope received a $5,000 grant, because a missionary couple that we offered a “Marriage In-
tensive to said they would write a grant request.
Last year as I prayed about the output of money verses income, I heard the Lord say that you have enough
money in the bank for this year. It has been an exciting journey since we began in 2009.
What does not make Sense is that the $$$ support for Haven of Hope has dropped from our major donors even
though we have served more couples abroad since our return to the U.S than we did during the time we
lived in Turkey with the exception of our home church and the faithful, 6-10 friends that have supported
Haven of Hope since day 1. I feel like we are at a critical place financially for planning for 2019. The first
thing we ask you to do is pray for $$$. Second, we have lived in AZ for 8-months, and if you know of
Churches that would love to partner with a ministry like ours, please give us any suggestions and an intro-
duction if possible. If you know of any Grant writers that could help us, please let us know. Lastly if you
have any suggestion, please feel free to email mjuarez45@live.com. Thank you.
Marriage Intensive in Nova Scotia!
This month we flew to Nova Scotia to do a Marriage Inten-
sive with a couple working in the bush with the Acadian peo-
ple It is a hard yet rewarding mission field for them. We left
them with some new communication tools and feel we have
made some great friends.
