1. What does the setting of Norman’s parlor (p.41) tell us about? Also, identify the POV shots on p.41

2. In their conversation taken in Norman’s parlor, how many times did Norman and Marion mention

3. On p.44, Norman said “we’re all in our private traps, clamped in them and none of us can ever climb
out……” What does he mean and how does this relate to the bird symbol?
4. How do the birds seem to represent Norman, and how do they seem to represent Marion?

his mother and Marion?
